Welcome to Amicale Cyclo Tandémistes/Tandem Club of France (ACT/TCF)

We are cyclists with a passion for riding the tandem, promoting its use, and sharing friendship among tandemists worldwide.

The ACT/TCF began in 1988 with a group of 6 tandemist couples.  Since then, the club has grown to over 400 members from France, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, and the USA.

The heart of the club is its tandem rallies. Each rally is unique and offers the opportunity of a French cycling experience.

The annual calendar of tandem rallies is posted on the opening page menu (Calendrier). There you will find a list of day, weekend, and weeklong tandem rallies in France and often, to 1 or 2 other countries. The French tandem rallies are becoming more international each year.

Tandemists from other countries include a weekend rally in their touring itinerary or come specifically for a weeklong rally. Whatever your choice, you will be welcomed by the ACT/TCF members in France and do not be surprised if that welcome is in English.

The information needed to register for a rally is included in the calendar with the name of the rally organizers. The ACT/TCF Board is aware that language barriers can be an impediment to registration. Therefore, the Board decided to appoint a club member to help with that process.
